| When a business group within Medtronic wanted to create a diversity |
| calendar with photographs of diverse people in their cubicles, I almost |
| cried. But instead, I decided to create a more inclusive message. The |
| end result was a calendar that focused on the fundamental social needs |
| that all people share, rather than their ethnic differences. |
