| The city of Siracusa,
Italy, held a branding competition to rebrand their |
| city. The submitted
entry won a "special mention" award among three |
| other finalists.
The identity is composed of a simple typographic treatment |
| that creates
the phrase "Siracusa sa," or "Siracusa knows,"
as well as |
| a graphic element
that members of the community can contribute to. |
